Hardware Engineer - R&D (Gas Burner Electronic Systems)

Designing and validating electronic hardware for gas burner control systems, transforming product requirements into robust hardware solutions. The role covers the full development cycle-from concept to testing-in a structured R&D environment within a multinational group.

The Hardware Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

• Translate functional and regulatory requirements into complete hardware designs for gas burner applications.
• Develop schematic diagrams, component selection, and architecture for electronic boards.
• Oversee the entire development flow: design → prototyping → validation → testing → release.
• Define and execute test plans for hardware validation, including reliability, safety, and performance tests.
• Collaborate closely with Software, Mechanical, Product Management, and Quality teams within a multinational R&D network.
• Support the definition of requirements in coordination with international stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of methodologies, test procedures, and design documentation.
• Interface with suppliers and technical partners for prototype development and component optimization.

Requisiti: A successful Hardware Engineer should have: Degree in Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in electronic hardware design (analog & digital). Strong knowledge of PCB design tools, electronic components, and laboratory instrumentation. Experience in validation and testing of electronic boards, including test plan definition. Familiarity with structured development processes and multidisciplinary environments. Understanding of safety standards and compliance for electronic products (preferable in combustion, appliances, or industrial control). Ability to manage end-to-end projects with a methodical and structured approach. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
