For our client, we are looking for an experienced and autonomous General Ledger Accountant who will act as the accounting reference point for the Italian entity while collaborating closely with the European Finance organization.Reporting directly to the Europe Accounting Manager, you will serve as the accounting reference point for the Italian entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting while collaborating with international stakeholders and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Lead General Ledger and closing activities for the Italian entity.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Support core accounting processes, including AP, AR, inventory, and cost accounting.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on audits and reporting activities.
• Participate in international finance projects and process improvement initiatives.

Requisiti: We are looking for a passionate finance professional who combines strong accounting expertise with a proactive, hands-on, and collaborative approach.Requirements Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields. At least 5 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting or similar roles. Solid knowledge of Italian accounting principles, VAT, and statutory reporting. Previous experience within multinational or structured industrial environments. Experience managing month-end and year-end closing activities independently. Knowledge of SAP or other major ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills. Fluent Italian and English. Comfortable working in an international environment and interacting with stakeholders across Europe.
