Senior Business Controller - Fashion Industry - Milan

A very interesting opportunity as a Senior Business Controller, reporting directly to the CFO.

The role will involve the following activities:

• Defining and managing planning and control processes and procedures
• Calculating and monitoring costs and margins, implementing actions plan to maximize efficiency and providing indications to accounting department
• Monitoring production accounting with analysis of deviations from production price lists and standard production costs
• Preparing and manage monthly forecasts for the period based on data provided by accounting
• Kpis business performance update and analysis
• Financial and business evaluation of new investment initiatives
• Perform ad hoc analyses by management for the purpose of sharing results and decision
• Provide sales and margin analysis for each business unit and company level
• Prepare budget, monitoring results, and identifying corrective actions in the event of any deviations from the target
• Allocation of cost/revenue items through analytical accounting entries aimed at determining monthly operating results
• Development of business plans and collaboration in management deck presentation

Requisiti: The candidate should have: Master's degree in Economics, Management Engineering or similar At least 7/8 years' previous experience in the required position, preferably in companies of the Fashion and Luxury industry Excellent knowledge of the main IT tools, in particular MS Excel Fluent in English Knowledge of the Mago (Zucchetti) programme is preferred The skills to complete the profile: Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to plan and organise your own work (efficiency) Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality Communication and listening skills Analytical and precise, attention to detail Ability to work in a team, enthusiasm and positivity Flexibility & dynamism
