On behalf of a multinational company operating in the medical device sector, we are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable & Expenses Accountant to join the Finance team

The selected candidate will join the Finance team as Senior Accounts Payable & Expenses Accountant, with responsibility for Accounts Payable and Expense Management for the Italian entity.
While the role has a local Italian scope, it requires regular interaction with EMEA and US Headquarters, ensuring alignment with group policies, procedures and reporting standards.Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end Accounts Payable process for the Italian entity
• Receive, review and post supplier invoices in the ERP system
• Manage vendor relationships, resolving payment discrepancies and invoice disputes
• Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations
• Maintain and update vendor master data
• Review and approve employee expense reports, including travel expenses, in line with company policies and local tax regulations
• Ensure correct classification, authorisation and posting of expenses
• Post monthly accruals related to costs and suppliers
• Reconcile Accounts Payable and related balance sheet accounts
• Support internal and external audits
• Support accounting governance activities, including account reconciliations, intercompany processes and VAT-related matters
• Act as local Finance point of contact for AP topics, liaising with HQ Finance teams

Requisiti: Candidate Profile Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting roles with a strong focus on Accounts Payable and Expenses Solid experience gained in structured multinational environments Strong organisational and prioritisation skills High level of autonomy and sense of ownership Accuracy, attention to detail and strong compliance mindset Ability to work under tight deadlines Fluent English, used to interact with international stakeholders Advanced knowledge of Excel ERP experience (SAP, Oracle or similar)
