Job Role

The Marketing Manager - Italy will lead the company's localized marketing and brand expansion initiatives across the Italian renewable energy market. This role is responsible for conducting market research, building annual marketing plans, executing omnichannel campaigns, and supporting distributor-driven commercial growth for residential energy storage solutions.

Acting as a regional marketing lead, the successful candidate will oversee localized branding activities, trade exhibitions, distributor joint campaigns, technical roadshows, and strategic promotional initiatives targeting Italy's solar and clean energy ecosystem. The role requires a blend of technical energy storage understanding, strategic marketing capability, and strong cross-functional execution skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research on Italy's renewable energy landscape, competitor movements, customer behavior, and ESS industry trends.
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans, campaign strategies, and localized budget allocations for the Italian market.
  • Localize brand positioning, messaging, and communication materials to align with Italian business culture and market expectations.
  • Organize and manage trade exhibitions, product launches, technical seminars, roadshows, and distributor marketing events across Italy.
  • Coordinate marketing collateral production including brochures, videos, event assets, social media materials, and promotional content.
  • Support distributor and channel partners through joint marketing campaigns and localized promotional activities.
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness, marketing ROI, and lead-generation performance to continuously optimize execution strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Country Manager, distributors, sales teams, and headquarters regarding market intelligence and promotional planning.
  • Ensure all marketing activities align with local compliance standards and corporate branding guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Renewable Energy, or related disciplines.
  • Must hold permanent residency or long-term legal working rights in Italy.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct marketing experience within residential ESS, solar energy, renewable energy, or related electrical infrastructure industries.
  • Proven experience handling localized market research, annual marketing planning, and budget management independently.
  • Strong understanding of residential energy storage systems, solar energy ecosystems, inverter technologies, and clean energy customer behavior.
  • Experience organizing exhibitions, trade shows, product launches, roadshows, and B2B promotional campaigns.
  • Strong capability in content localization, event management, and distributor marketing coordination.
  • Excellent communication, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution capability in fast-paced international business environments.
  • Fluent in English and Italian; Mandarin proficiency is mandatory for coordination with headquarters.
