Il Palagio offers an elevated dining experience that blends classic Florentine flavors with contemporary creativity. Guests enjoy thoughtfully curated tasting menus paired with exceptional Italian wines from our cellar, each selection chosen to enhance every course. During the warmer months, dinner moves to our open‑air terrace, where views over one of Florence's largest private gardens create an unforgettable setting
About the role:
The Chef De Partie is responsible for supervising and overseeing the preparation of food items for guest orders ensuring consistent quality. This role requires a special talent and passion for ensuring the culinary team delivers the highest of culinary consistently, and ensuring that our food offering is at the center of our guest experience.
What you will do:
Ensure our guests consistently receive the highest level of service excellence
Follow production, portion and presentation standards
Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
Assist in setting up plans and actions to control food waste
Develop and mentor the team
What you bring:
+ 2 years as culinary experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or Michelin-starred restaurant
A creative flair and bring your personal touch and energy to all our food and beverage experiences
Ability to provide guidance to others
Fluency in Italian. Knowledge of English would be considered a plus
Schedule & Hours:
This is a full‑time and seasonal position with shift-based scheduling. All applicants must have valid authorization to work in Italy at the time of application.
